one night in a strange city

The Christmas lights are wonderful this time of year, aren't they?

I ventured out into a city, where there are brick roads and a fountain sitting alongside a lake, one midnight evening and it made for a picturesque sight. The weather was a chill 58ºF and it felt like Christmas night, where no one was stirring, not even a mouse. 

I must explore more often like this.
